It is really weird when you consider how hard we fight to stay in the shadows and the dark. People clutching at their dysfunction, fighting tooth and nail to hang on to their pain, fear, sorrows... craziness! You would think that we would celebrate and do whatever it takes to break free from struggle. You would think so, but when given the opportunity at a path to true happiness and freedom, we offer paltry excuses.

I don’t have the time. I don’t have the money. I cannot travel. I don’t... I can’t...

These are all beliefs that limit us and keep us stuck. Stuck in the darkness, eyes closed, avoiding the life-lines that are being thrown to us.
What would it take to actually reach out and take hold of that life-line? Are we thinking that there is something to lose? That we might have to give up something? Someone? Do we doubt that there is really a path out there that could ever truly help us?

These are beliefs that sabotage and block our growth. They are tricks of the ego to keep the status quo. The ego likes us right where it has us. It certainly does not want us interested in creating a better life for ourselves and others. It will do everything possible to block our moving forward and having the life that we truly deserve.

Four years ago when I first considered Avatar, I remember initially wondering how was I going to pay for it. Fortunately, some part of me chose to not worry about that. Instead, I chose to believe that if this was the path for me, then things would work out to make that happen. The more I read, the more I knew that this was my next path on my spiritual journey.

I started to get really excited feeling how my life could change with Avatar. I saw improvement in my marriage and received the support I was looking for in raising two children. I held on to that excitement of change and the conviction that the money would come and it did! It showed up in lots of interesting and surprising ways.
