Right Before My Eyes

by Fred Walter

Dear Avatar Journal,

I have been receiving the Avatar Journal for 7 years. When I first received it in the mail, I read it with some interest and thought I probably had experienced all it had to offer through the Landmark courses and other books I had read. I read the Avatar Journal with the attention a frequent flyer might have listening to the Flight attendant describe how to operate all the safety systems in case of an emergency.

Then on Mother’s Day weekend 1996, I was informed that the job I was employed at for 22 years was ending, and the same weekend my 1 1/2 year old daughter was very sick with symptoms of diabetes. She was so close to death that she had to be taken to a children’s hospital in a helicopter.

I then began to read the Avatar Journal with more attention, thinking I would do the course some day. But I waited and wondered when I would do it. In the fall of 1999, my attention was exhausted, and I could feel it. I wondered how I could ever create the time and the money to take the course.

In December, 1999, my new place of employment closed for two weeks for remodeling and I thought, This is the time, and I will get the money. I took the course in Queens, NY, and after the first two days, I felt like I was on a two-week holiday. The exercises where simple and elegant in their design. Thank you, Victor. The Christmas lights on Broadway were the perfect place to practice the Feel-It exercises.

One of the goals I wrote down was improved health for my daughter and six weeks after I completed the course, a representative for an Insulin Pump company called us and said they would help us get a pump. Skylar, who is now five years old, was connected in February, and our lives were changed.

I use the Avatar exercises daily and in the face of any circumstance, I am Happy to be Me. Waiting and thinking about taking The Avatar Course cost me a lot more than the course. You can do it now.Best &

Sweet regards.

Fred Walter, La Anna, PA
