The removal of limitations that I have either placed upon myself or have allowed to be placed on me in the form of beliefs through indoctrination, choice or obedience is the journey that I am on. I have now taken the role of someone learning to be the instigator of my destiny by removing beliefs that do not serve and deliberately installing those that I prefer to experience in my life.
I am the one determining my life instead of being like a sailboat drifting around hopelessly and being buffeted about by the winds of circumstances beyond my control. I don’t say I have perfected this art; I do know I am learning and growing to master it more and more every day.
I did a self-evolvement course called Avatar three and a half years ago. This course enables a person to learn to live deliberately. After having experienced the Avatar Materials I have become a happy, content, loving, compassionate, caring and understanding person. I got to know me. Through the tools used in The Avatar Course, I removed fixed ideas that I had about myself that I truly believed were absolutely me. Funny, as I used the exercises given to remove these fixed ideas from my being, from my everyday existence, they just did not exist any more. I can remember some of them, but really it’s like they are just not part of me anymore.
I have come a long way.
Before, all I could feel was separation, suffering and struggle, mostly what the world had taught me. Everything that was important to me was beginning to fall apart.
Now it’s as though I have gone full circle. Back to who I was before I started to look for myself, only now I like who I am. I didn’t really go away; I just got lost in the struggle and forgot how to find my way home.
That’s what Avatar has given me—myself. I am now the captain of my ship and I have learned to use my sail with those winds of the world to move me in the direction I choose.
If there’s something that is really important to you and you are not sure if you will ever find it, there is a way available to allow the removal of blocks in your path. It’s fun, it’s loving, it’s you finding you.
