Avatar: The Fourth Turning of the Dharma Wheel

We, Masters Ilu and J.H. Moon, heard the news from a prospect that ten important Korean monks wanted to do The Avatar Course. So Ilu and I arrived in New York with the great joy of imagining that ten monks must be waiting for us, and that soon we’ll be delivering Avatar to those ten monks.

But when we arrived at the monastery in New York state, there were only three monks there to receive us. All of a sudden, our expectation was collapsing. The noise of the collapsing expectation broke our hearts within a fraction of a second. Where had the rest of the monks gone? Gone with the wind. Other Masters who have been disappointed will understand our feelings.

But we needed to do something. Behind the scenes we remembered Harry’s talk, “Treat every new Avatar as a Wizard.” So with that inspiration we created a new primary. “We will do our best to teach and inspire these three.”

So with the primary, the course began. The ReSurfacing workshop made their hearts ready to open, and the monks were able to look into themselves and loosen up the hard portions of their minds, slowly and gradually.

They were impressed by the ReSurfacing exercises, and they had deep experiences on Releasing Fixed Attention. They were also amazed by the exercise Walk For Atonement and were very pleased with the Compassion Exercise. The words, “Just like me…” touched them deeply. It was two beautiful days of a wonderful ReSurfacing workshop in their monastery.

The more the monks reshuffle their belief systems, the less compulsive thinking overwhelms them. Their thoughts slowly start diminishing, and the final preparation for Feel-Its dawns and brightens their consciousness. By experiencing how beautifully their thoughts fade into void, they open their hearts fully from intellect to experience. They become the witnesses of themselves.

They confess that they have the status of no mind, which can be expressed in no words, for the first time in their lives.

Finally the great day of Source List.

Can you imagine disciplined, reserved Eastern monks enjoying the Source List? It made two Masters laugh.

It was great fun helping them exaggerate. After so many years of being trained in a disciplined life style to show minimum body language, they felt awkward about exaggeration. They laughed so much, they became loud, and layer by layer, they became lighter and lighter.

Their lives were transforming. The lighter their consciousness, the more the difficulties of their lives diminished. After shaking their lives to their roots, we invited them individually into the Silkway of Consciousness: The Avatar Initiation.

After Initiation they were in awe and deep gratitude for having the tools of discreation. What a moment! Their life and faith returned to them. They became truly alive! Not just existing and believing. They got life back.

After the course they wrote:

The leaders of society need to do The Avatar Course so that public consciousness can be transformed. I am new born, I am alive, and I am feeling into the life. I have ‘no mind.’” —Ven. Harim

“Now at this moment, I can understand the meaning of what the Masters have said, “Accept all as they are.” And before doing this course, I knew only about primary, not knowing how to handle secondaries. But now I have the tools of how to create primary as well how to handle secondaries! Each and every day is a new, fresh and good day for me.” — Ven. Haemin

Two of the monks have registered for the Korean Master Course, and the other will come to the Orlando Master Course. These three important leaders of Buddhists are now awakened. The more their consciousness is expanded, the more the consciousness of the members in their monastery will be inspired and awakened.

They have found their purpose, and it is the path of contributing to an enlightened planetary civilization.

I express my deep gratitude to Master Ilu who has had heroic perseverance for these students. She was patient and allowed space for that moment when Avatar awakens a person, and they come out of their creation.
